The Beach.

South Padre Island is about 20 minutes from Robert's home town of Santa Rosa, Texas - so we decided to take Elena to the beach for the first time. She has always loved the water so we thought she would have a great time. The weather was nice, right around 80 degrees - the water was a little chilly but Elena did not seem to mind. We started out on the sand, which she thought was pretty cool.

Robert showed Elena how to make a sandcastle.

Then we ventured down to the water.

and she LOVED it!

...and then we couldn't keep her out of it!

She kept running back to the water!

We had a really great day and enjoyed our family time together! Looks like we will be coming back to the beach every time we get a chance!!
