Christmas Decorating.

It took while to get all the decorations out at our house this year but we did manage get them all out. First up, the little Village that I have been collecting for the past few years. Elena loved this. She would go and play with it for the longest time every night. It was great!
She was so funny, she would make up little stories for the characters. Once they were all in a long line going up to one house, then they were all around the skating pond together, she also had little adventures for the bride and groom and police officers too - very creative and adorable!
I bought a gingerbread house kit for E and she did a great job with it. I only had to help a little with putting the walls together and the frosting designs - and making sure some of the candy actually got on the house!
She did not want to throw this away after Christmas. I had to convince her she would get to do another one next year before she would let me throw it out. :)
Since my Dad was stuck out at the rehabilitation hospital for awhile we decided to bring a little Christmas cheer to him with this mini tree.
Lastly we got decorate our tree at home too. Elena was really into it this year and was especially concerned with where the ornaments should go. There were several that ended up on the same limbs (like the last 2 years!) but she also really enjoyed spreading them all over the tree.
Dominic could not figure out what we were doing. But he liked it!
I tried to get a picture by the tree but the kids just kept laughing at each other!
As always, Daddy got to finish off the decorating with the star on top.
Elena came back and kept adding more ornaments to try and postpone bedtime that night.  It worked.
But my favorite thing to decorate this year was definitely this little Santa Baby! :)
