Beach Baby.

Elena had been begging all week to go to the beach (South Padre) so we scoped out the weather and decided that Friday would be the best weather for it. We headed out and I always love seeing the island come into view and watch Elena's anticipation as we cross the causeway to get to the island.

We definitely picked the perfect day - it was gorgeous!

"Look there's the beach!!!" :)

Of course Elena wasted no time getting in the water but Dominic wasn't so sure about this place!

We had purchased this little tent cabana for the beach. After Daddy put it up, Dominic was a happy camper!

While the boys chilled in the cabana, Elena and I had a blast playing in the sand ~

She built a castle for Ariel, a stage for popstar Barbie and a tower for Rapunzel! :)

Robert's sister Rachel and her daughter Clarissa joined us too.

We were so glad Clarissa came because she was more than happy to get into the chilly water and play with Elena!  (Robert and I might have had to flip a coin for who would've had to get in with her - ha!)

A quick seashell hunt before we grabbed some lunch -

We ate at one of Robert and I's favorite spots on the beach -

I mean - you just can't beat this!

Then we ventured back to the beach to let Elena play a little bit longer. She would have stayed all day if we let her!

We always love coming here and now Baby D has oficially been to the ocean!
