Tanganyika.

The title of this post could also be -- "My crazy, fearless daughter!" as I came to find out after a trip to Tanganyika Wildlife Park. This is a park where you get to walk around and interact with the animals! We started out at the giraffes, Elena loved getting up so close and feeding them.

And the start of the fearlessness began...if you take a close look at this picture, I am pretty sure she is grabbing the giraffe's tongue!

At the kangaroo exhibit you are supposed to stay on a path and you can touch them if they come up to you. Shortly after this picture she made a bee-line for this kangaroo! I have never seen one move so fast, thank goodness it was in the direction away from Elena!

Then this one came up to the food bowl and Elena was trying to hand feed it! (I can see how she would be confused since we did just feed the giraffes and all...) Needless to say, we had to stop her from trying to feed it. She kept saying "Eat it, Rabbit!" -- too funny!

Then she got to pet a ferret. No drama there thank goodness!

After a quick stop at the playground we decided to go feed the turtles~
She did pretty good with feeding them.
Until I was taking this picture and she decided to grab the turtle's head and then feed it the lettuce! Yikes- crazy girl!! I decided it was time to move on to the next exhibit after that!
The Lemurs were sleeping - until Elena started yelling at them (lol) so we didn't mess with feeding them (probably a good thing looking at her track record so far for the day!)
Our last stop was the lorakeets. We got a little cup of nectar to feed them. She thought this was pretty neat - and thank goodness didn't try to grab the bird!
Elena had a great time, even though she heard me say "NO" more than she ever has in one day!! :)
