I can't imagine a better birthday present than a serenade from this little sweetie. If only she knew it really was her Mommy's birthday - ha ha! Actually she did know it was my birthday today, this morning I went in to get her up and our conversation went like this ~
Me: Good morning baby!
Elena: Good morning baby! (Yes, she is still repeating everything)
Me: Do you remember what today is?
Elena: (concentrating really hard but no response)
Me: It's Mommy's...
Elena: Birthday!!!!
Me: Yes it is!
Elena: Happy Birthday Mommy!
Me: Thank you sweetie!
Elena: (suddenly gets a serious face) Elena wants a birthday too!
Me: (laughing) Well don't worry, you will get one in a couple weeks!
