This year Dominic got to join Elena's class at school for Hibernation Day. A fun day of crafts, learning about other animals that hibernate and even a bear hunt! The kids just love Dominic - he is like their little class mascot! :)
First craft was making a hedgehog, did you know they hibernated? Me neither!
This is the first time Dominic got to use a marker! He was so focused! ;)
There was also plenty of time to play.
Including a paper "snowball" fight -
Then it was the bear hunt --
searching in the dark with flashlights!
After they found the "stuffed" bear it was time for a snack. More hedgehogs, made with a peach, pretzels, marshmallows and chocolate chip eyes.
Dom's head didn't last...

What a fun day with the kiddos at Elena's school! So glad that I was able to be there with both of them!
