On Day two in Cali we decided to go to a little beach right near where we are staying, Hermosa Beach. It was awesome! They have this pier area with tons of shops, bars and restaurants and then it leads right into the beach. We ate at a yummy Mexican restaurant before we hit the sand.
Elena could hardly wait to get down to the water.
She was so happy!
But after she put her feet in and felt the undertow pull back on her legs she bolted away from the water! It was pretty strong so I totally get why she was afraid. She stayed pretty much on the beach all day which was just fine with us!
Elena made herself comfortable with these two little 5 year old twin girl's toys and they very generously shared with her. We hung out with them and their parents all day and then even had dinner with them later, fun times!
She was very serious about playing in the sand! :)
Day two ended pretty much like day one...with one worn out little girl!
Hermosa beach was great and we spent a lot more time there during our week!
