More fun.

During the week Elena and I explored California while Robert was at work during the day. We came across this nice park in Hermosa Beach and Elena had a blast running around and playing there. I can't even begin to explain to you how nice the weather was!! It never went about 85 degrees!! (Compared to a whopping 105 back at home!)
We met some really nice people that recommend Big Mike's Subs for us to eat at for lunch, so we checked it out. It was pretty yummy, Elena was so hungry from running around I don't think she cared what we were eating though!

Back at the hotel Elena took a nap and we waited for Robert to get home. We he returned Elena did her usual gymnastics on the beds before we headed out for the evening. Silly girl!

We decided to do dinner and a movie this night and we came across a great sushi place that was having happy hour specials on food and drinks. Score. Robert was really excited because the name of the restaurant was also his initials. Yep, he's kinda dorky like that. ;) Elena even tried out using chopsticks, but needed a little help from mommy!

Then we went to the movie, but not just any movie -- Cars 3D at the IMAX! Yes, we were a little nervous about doing the 3D but they let Elena go for free so we thought we would give it a shot!

Got my popcorn, M&M's, Sprite and 3D glasses - let's get this party started!

Elena did great! She loved the movie - each time Tow-Mater came on screen she giggled and yelled "Look it's Mater!!" She lasted almost through the entire movie - and would have made it through whole thing if the darn coming attractions wouldn't have taken 30 minutes!! She really loved it though and I am glad we tried it! What a fun day!!
