More Memorial Fun.

It wasn't all work and no play around here this Memorial Day weekend. Elena got to hang out with her good buddies CJ and Estela.

CJ and Elena were so cute together!! :)

We got to spend some fun time at the lake with our good friends! How adorable is this patriotic swimsuit?! (Yes, we went from sweats to swimsuits in one day!)

We played in the water, rode in the boat, went 4-wheeling, and we even took Elena out on a jet ski for the first time! Which we ended up tipping all three of us over - yikes! She did really well though and her only concern was that the jet ski was going to float away from us! She jumped right back on and has been telling us about why we wear life jackets ever since! :)

I had never noticed how much our friend's daughter Kaylee resembles Elena. But when they were together this weekend it was like looking back in time! We would turn around and see her and it totally looked like Elena a year ago! Crazy! I tried to get a picture of the two of them but these were the best I got. Are we crazy or do you see it too?

We also did a little fishing~

...and ate lots and lots of yummy food. Including a ton of twizzlers!

And we must not forget the real reason for this holiday...
