Tanganyika.

Another day...another adventure! This time at Tanganyika Wildlife Park! I got a great deal on a Groupon a few months ago and it was about to expire so we had to cash in! When we arrived we first stopped at the rabbits and turtles and let Elena give them a little snack. She loves this part - she kept wanting to go back there the rest of the day!



Then she got to feed an alpaca. Their big brown eyes are pretty cute!

Can you imagine a porcupine as a pet?? Yikes!

Next we went for a camel ride! This is something I had never done either!

More feeding...this time the goats!


The lorakeets are one of my favorite places here, and I think Elena's too! She loved giving the birds nectar, she even had 3 birds at once that she was feeding! After we left she kept making the slurping sounds and pretending to drink like they did - silly girl!

There is just so much to do at this place!
Next Elena got to feed the lemurs. This little fatty seems to get his share of food - ha ha!

This is an albino alligator! Amazing - it totally looks like a statue! They are extremely rare, there are only like 30 in the world!

They even had baby white tigers that had just been born! They were wrestling around with each other - so cute and cuddly!

We strategically ended with feeding the giraffes - it was near the exit and the only way we could convince Elena to go that way. I swear she would stay here all day if she could!

We got all finished and headed out just as it was getting really hot and a ton of people were arriving at the park also - gotta love timing things like that! :)
