We got buckled in and took off - she even got to chew a little gum on the way, which she was pretty pumped about since it is only the 2nd time she has ever gotten any - (the 1st was definitely an accident!)

We headed out to dinner to one of our favorite places, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

We got Elena this fun, build-your-own kids sundae for dessert. She was pretty pumped.
The restaurant was in this outdoor mall area that was so pretty. I would love to have something like this around home somewhere!
Elena stayed occupied doing lots of activities - I downloaded some books for her on my Nook, she played her video game, colored a little, played with the games on my phone and watched some cartoons. Not a wink of sleep for this little traveler - she was too excited!
When we arrived at LAX, Robert was there waiting with a little something special for both of us! Roses for me (I believe that may be like the 2nd time ever he's gotten me flowers!) and an adorable little princess purse for Elena. We were so happy to see him! We headed to our hotel at Disney after that. Our hotel had 2 bedrooms - one for us and one with a bunk bed for Elena, she thought this was about the coolest thing ever! Pretty handy for naps and bedtime too - we took the top bed off and it already had rails on it so we were golden. She did really well the whole time we were there. Maybe I should consider getting her a big girl bed after all...

We ran into a balloon artist and let Elena choose an animal for him to make. She choose a bunny, simple enough right? Well he made this elaborate, bugs bunny style, life size bunny for her! I was expecting a tiny little white balloon with ears and a tail! Go figure.

We headed back to the hotel after that because we were so tired from the flight and the time change, and we wanted to be rested up and ready to go for Disneyland in the morning!!
