On Saturday we walked down our street to the park for all of the fun 4th of July activities Park City has to offer. We started off and immediately saw this helicopter - pretty cool to see one so close up!
Then Elena got real excited when she saw all the people and fun in the park! Pretty sure she is saying "get it" here because she wants down to go play!
When she got down she made a bee-line for the bouncy house. She loves these things now - just a few short months ago she wanted nothing to do with them!!
She kept coming over to us and saying "uh-oh" with a very concerned look on her face and then handing pieces of grass that had made it into the play area -
Then she started taking it to the staff that was working! Too funny -- she is definitely my little neat freak!
After prying her from the inflatable (I think she could have stayed there all day!), we decided to check out some of the games.

She figured out it was much easier to just walk up this little ramp and then throw the ball in! :)
She got lots of fun little prizes and this cute crown, which she actually left on for a little while! She must have really liked it - or just been to busy to notice that it was still on her head!!
As we were eating - under a sheltered pavilion (thank goodness!) the rain really started coming down!
So I guess no train ride this year! :( These kiddos didn't seem to mind getting soaked on their ride though!

Robert was doing such a good job of picking up the baby animals for Elena to see up close, a line quickly developed and it looked like he was working for a few minutes!
It had been drizzling on and off all day and I just love how the humidity makes Elena's little curls
come out- so adorable!

We decided it was time to call it a day at this point. Daddy even went and got the car for us so we wouldn't have to get too wet - what a sweetie! When we got home and dried off it was time for naps - Elena and Daddy both took a 3 hour nap! While they slept I ran a couple errands and made some patriotic cupcakes for us to take to a BBQ later that day... yum!!
