Minnie Party!!

Elena had so much fun at her Minnie birthday party last weekend! Check out the adorable shirt that I ordered for her on Etsy. (I thought about making it but opted to go the quicker, easier route!)
We decorated our backyard with tons of balloons - which all the kiddos loved!
I also made these simple but very festive tissue paper pom poms that I found on-line. The how-to can be found here. They really were pretty easy and everyone kept commenting on how great they looked!
Our snack spread - I did "Hot Diggity Dogs" (hot dog wrapped with cheese and crescent rolls) which were a big hit with everyone.
I borrowed this mini bouncy house from my friend Erin, which was the hit of the party! With four 2 year olds and two 1 year olds this was a must-have! I can't thank Erin enough for letting us borrow it!
Of course we had Mickey ears for all the guests - and I snapped a picture of almost all of the kids with them on! Too cute!!

More party fun!

Drake's new baby sister, Kennedy Jane -- such a sweetie!
Then it was time for cake - how adorable is this Minnie cake?? Elena loved it! Connie's cookies did a fantastic job on it!!
Elena really liked everyone singing to her! She swayed along to the singing and then clapped with everyone when the song was over!

She snuck a quick sneak of icing before I took it away to cut! Sneaky girl!

Time for presents! (I think she was still munching on some cake!)

A pinata is a given for birthday parties in Robert's family so there was no question that we would have one!

And the favorite thing from the toys and candy...definitely lollipops!
2 lollipops=happy 2 year olds! :)

Happy Birthday Elena!!
