Easter Fun.

We had a wonderful Easter weekend filled with friends and family this year. We went over to my parents house to dye and hunt for eggs and eat some yummy food. I was excited to put together a fun little Easter basket for Miss Elena - and she loved it. :)



On to dying the eggs - we haven't done this in many, many years and I think we forgot how at first!


Elena loved helping out and did a really good job of not getting dye everywhere!

Elena loved looking for the eggs - she would scan the yard and get really excited and point when she found one and yell "EGG!" and run over to it. It was so adorable.

She loved looking for the eggs so much that I hid them again later in the day in our backyard. :)


I also took this opportunity of dressing up to paint Elena's toes for the first time! How cute are tiny little toes with pink nail polish on them? At first, she would look down at them and go "uh, oh" - like something was wrong! After she got used to it she would point at them and say "paint!" :)
