"Elena has hardly ever been sick." - yes, those words actually came out of my mouth a little over a week ago -- NEVER AGAIN!! Honestly, Elena truly has hardly been sick these past two years of her life - the most I have to complain about is her coming down with a couple colds. But I now believe that if your child hardly gets sick on a regular basis when she eventually does get sick it will be a doozie! For example her symptoms over the last week have included - fever, nausea, diarrhea, runny nose, wicked cough, itchy eyes, so so tired, and wanting to do nothing but lay on my chest and get rocked for 6 days straight!! Poor poor baby girl! I think this picture sums up her thoughts on the past week.
Laying around watching Dora and Mickey is pretty much all she had energy for.
Even when she was actually up for a bath it seemed to take all of her energy. Look at those tired little eyes.
She has been longing to go out and enjoy the snow~
But Cooper was the only who has got to play in it so far!

Thank goodness yesterday she started looking more like her old self - actually playing instead of just wanting to lay around!!
Today she is pretty much back to normal - thank goodness! It is so terrible to see your little one be so miserable and not be able to do anything for them!
