A Wet-n-Wild Day!

Today we went to Wet-n-Wild Days at the Zoo with our StrollerFriends moms group. The Fire Department hooks up their hoses and spray the kiddos in a big open field from 1-4pm every Friday for the next 8 weeks! Elena was so excited! When the hose came on she immediately took off towards the gushing water!


She was in water-heaven!!


She spent most of her time right in the middle of the huge puddle that formed with all the big kids. She kept running over and telling me that she was swimming!



The hoses took a short break and the kids got to play in the huge puddle for a while without being pelted by water. This is actually most of the kiddos in our group! I can't believe they were all this close to each other for a split-second!


Then we took a couple pictures with the fire engine! Elena has really been into trucks lately and there is this one book - Little Squirt the Fire Engine - that she makes me read about a hundred times every day. Needless to say, she thought this was pretty awesome!

And what better way to end the day than with a sno cone? 1/2 lime and 1/2 grape - yummy! What a fun day, we will have to come back again soon!!
