I just can't believe that my little baby girl is 5 years old. When did that happen and why is she growing up so fast?!

Her birthday was on a Sunday this year so she had quite the weekend of celebrations! It started on Friday with her class party. We made cupcakes to take the night before and she made sure everything was prefect! 

Frosting - check!

Sprinkles - check!

 Time to start the celebrations!  

This girl loves attention - and especially being the center of it! Ha!  

 After her class party we got to meet Daddy for lunch!

Saturday was her big Travel Party! More to come on that very soon...and then it was Sunday - her official birthday! We started off with presents in bed.

 

 

 And pink pancakes with sprinkles and whipped cream for breakfast! Yum!

She immediately wanted to play with her light up lego set - she loved it!

 Daddy had to head out of town for work after lunch so we decided to meet Grandma and head to the Flight Festival. We were a little late to the show because of  Dominic's nap, but got to see the very cool finale from a distance and didn't even have to fight traffic.

 

Next year we will definitely be spending more time here - Dominic and Elena were both in awe!

 

 Back at Grandma's there were more presents sent from loved ones - and a special visitor, my cousin Chris who came to spend some time with us!  

 Elena has been very interested in the planets lately so my parents got her...

a telescope! She was so excited - these pictures aren't that great but look at the joy on her face!

She was so pumped! Favorite gift ever! She loves it.

 We decided to just grab something to go for dinner and take it back to the house to eat with everyone, but Chris and I made sure to take Elena for a special treat while we were waiting on the food. A kids strawberry daiquiri! She was so excited!!!

Then the waitress surprised us with some sopapillas for a before dinner dessert! She thought this was the greatest thing ever! A fancy drink and dessert before dinner - what a treat!

 Happy Birthday baby girl! We love you more than you know!
