Dominic's 1st trip to the Dentist.

 Dominic was such a trooper on his first trip to the dentist! I was getting my teeth cleaned at the same time but little mommy Layna made sure everything was going just right for little brother! :) 

 He did awesome and his teeth look great!! Too bad they can't get rid of the little sweet tooth he has! Ha ha ha :)

Swimming Lessons!

We decided it was time to start Dominic up in swimming lessons this year to get ready for all the summer fun we have at the pool. We did some lessons last year but they were parent involved so this time it was much different as he was by himself with the instructor! You might remember when Elena took swimming lessons a couple years ago -- she was not a happy camper the first week. But then she finally warmed up and loved it! Well the same thing happened with Dom - he literally screamed the entire first class! Ugh! :( But then he kept doing better and better each time! This was one of the first classes when he still wasn't too sure about it but was finally not crying!

  

The pics aren't that great because I had to stay away and was peeking through a window! So stressful to see your baby not be 100% comfortable in any situation!

So proud of him for doing so much better each time!!

Most days grandma takes him to swim, but every so often I get to sneak away and watch him too!

The goggles crack me up! But he finally got used to them and does so much better with them on!

He's been going for about 2 months now and check him out now!!!!!! Amazing! Now he begs to go to swimming lessons!

Easter {2015}

This year I did something for Easter I have been wanting to do since Dominic was born...buy matching Easter baskets with their names on them! :) I know this seems probably very silly to some but for some reason I have always loved how they looked and have always wanted them. They turned out adorable and I love them! :) He he he.

and man I was trying to get this cute shot and I totally had my camera setting wrong and focused on the wrong thing. But I still love this pic cause you can totally see Dominic's expression of surprise!

Then we got dressed and headed over to my parent's house - where they got a few more Easter goodies!

She was beyond pumped that she got an iTunes gift card!

Then it was time to dye some eggs - it was so windy and chilly outside that we opted to do it inside.

Then we ate some lunch and headed outside to so some hunting!

Got to give a shoutout to my amazing hubby who was fixing my parent's fence that had gotten blown down from a storm the other night!

I wish it wouldn't have been so cold out, I didn't even get a family picture or one with my parents in it! Bummer! But the kids still had a blast! :)
