Last Day of Kindergarten!

I just can't believe my baby is done with Kindergarten!!! This year just flew by!

Little Bro is excited to have Big Sis around all summer! Woo hoo!

She had a fantastic teacher that really pushed her to do her best this year! I am so proud of what she accomplished! You know I have to do a little comparison right? I mean, what else are the cute signs for? ;)

It's amazing how much older she looks now! (and how many fewer teeth she has too!) We are ready for summer!

Exploration Place Fieldtrip.

There are so many activities at the end of the school year and I am thankful that Elena still wants me to come to as many as I can! So I took off work to head to Exploration place with her class! She got to ride the bus there and I met them there. She thought that was pretty awesome.

There were several parents that attended so we were able to split the girls up into groups of three. I honestly can't imagine having too many more than that at once!

After lots of exploring it was time for some science - they learned a lot about tornadoes!

They got supplies to build a shelter together --

and then got to see how it stood up to strong winds!

Proud to report her goup's house passed the tornado test! Woo hoo!

The we went back out to explore more -

and this was the favorite activity by far...lol! I guess it was all about tornadoes today!

So blessed to be able to take time off and join Elena for her field trip! I am also going to enjoy the fact that she still wants me to come to her activities!!

Field Day {2015}

I honestly don't know how the summer is almost over and I have pretty much found no time to blog!!! I had better finish up the kindergarten memories before she heads off to 1st grade and makes new ones! At the end of the year I was able to take off work and join Elena for her first field day. If you can't tell by her smile - she had a blast!!

Her biggest supporter was there too! :)

A little tug of war action -

There were some other adults pulling on the other side - even though it doesn't look like it! Ha!

Dom was having them time of his life too!

There was a Sting Stride fundraiser where the kids got pledges for walking around the track - of course E had to find her BFF Zeplynn to walk with...

Meanwhile this little dude put on a little show...

He literally ran 5 laps around the track non-stop!!!! That's over a mile! I was shocked!!

I kept asking if he wanted to walk and he just kept saying "Nope, I runnin!" Looks like we might have a little track star on our hands!

Thankfully my Mom came with us too and was able to take Dom for lunch and a nap so I was able to spend the rest of the day with E and her little friends. :)
