For a long time I had been wanting to check out Stearman Airfield. It is a bar and grill that is on a runway! How cool is that? With Dominic's enthusiasm for planes, I was finally able to talk Robert into checking it out. We found out they served breakfast one morning and decided to go! AS soon as we pulled up there was a plane landing right on the runway. The kids (and us too!) were in awe. 
We sat on a great enclosed patio and ate breakfast while we watched helicopters and all kinds of planes land and take off! It was great!
Dominic really, really loved it! He would just stop whatever he was doing and point!
There is even a playground!!
and a stage too! Which Elena and some new friends took to right away to preform for everybody!
It was totally awesome and definitely a place that we will be returning too soon!!
Fun times!!
