Leading up to the 4th this year Dominic was very concered with all the "Pow Pows" as he liked to call them. He would hear a boom and run for cover and hide behind Grandpa! :) 
After one of Elena's softball games one evening Robert decided to try to ease him in to closer fireworks, because our neighborhood goes crazy on the 4th and we knew he would be terrified if he didn't like the fireworks!
He started tolerating the sound more but was still a bit unsure of everything! 
Robert had to leave for work on July 5th this year so we decided to invite my parents over and bbq and pop fireworks on the 3rd of July this year. And Robert's nephew Adrian had just arrived from Texas to work with Robert for a few weeks too.
The kids started out with good old poppers this time and they loved them!!

We ate and hung out and decided to move out front for some more fireworks, we also invited our neighbor bffs over too!
